A Dutch silver knitting needle sheath decorated with bands of engraving and embossed band above a tapering octagonal body with a hook on the side. Writing engraved on side of body unable to distinguish. Tested silver 925. Circa 1861. Condition: Good with wear consistent with age and use. Tiny dents on the body visible in the photographs
